Amanda Wolf

Location: Broadway & Linden (south of Linden, west side of Broadway)

Theme: The beauty of Boulder

Photos: Peter Kowalchuk

My name is Amanda Wolf & I am a muralist and oil painter focused on wildlife, portraiture, and color experimentation. My painting style is a mix between traditional portraiture, abstract expression, and fantastical and vibrant color application which draws a connection between the internal human experience and the natural world. I love to create a mystical effect through transparent color layers.

My goal with this style is to create distilled images of powerful & magical women, landscapes and scenes. My mission is to evoke a sense of curiosity, magic, serenity, and grace!

This mural in particular is inspired by the natural beauty in the Boulder area. My hope is to get eyes on a local charity, Greenwood Wildlife Rehabilitation. This group is devoted to the rehabilitation and release of orphaned, injured and sick wildlife on the front range. I encourage you to check out what they are doing and consider donating your time or dollars to a group working tirelessly to preserve and protect the incredible animals who occupy this beautiful land.
