Join the Street Wise Arts Board of Directors

This call is open to all people and we hope to grow our board of directors to include people from diverse identities and backgrounds. We are looking for people with experience, skills and resources that can help us fulfill the Street Wise Arts mission.

Commitment:

To be a Board member with Street Wise Arts, we ask that you commit to:

  • Advocate and fully understand our mission and values

  • Lead in the vision and strategy for the organization

  • Volunteer 4-10 hours per month for a 2 year term

  • Prepare for and attend and engage in monthly board meetings.

  • Sharing your expertise and leveraging your networks and resources.

  • Fundraising: A $500 annual “Give/Get” – this means that you either have to help us raise $500, donate $500 in cash or contribute the equivalent in your time in a year. We are creative about how we value Board contributions to ensure that membership is accessible to people from all income levels, classes and socioeconomic backgrounds.

  • Overseeing the organization and ensuring diligent governance and financial responsibilities.

Process:

We are currently accepting interest for two open board positions. The form can be found here and takes 10 minutes to complete.
