Join the Street Wise Arts Board of Directors

This call is open to all people and we hope to grow our board of directors to include people from diverse identities and backgrounds. We are looking for people with networks, experience, skills and/or resources that can help us continue to serve our mission. 

Commitment: Board members are expected to

• Know the organization’s mission, policies, programs, and needs

• Serve as active advocates and ambassadors for the organization and fully engage in identifying and securing the financial resources and partnerships necessary for the organization to advance its mission

• Give a $500 donation annually, commit to raising that amount within your networks or volunteer work hours for specific areas of need (current area of need includes: Volunteer coordinator/community engagement, and Fundraising)

• Help identify personal connections that can benefit the organization’s fundraising and reputational standing, and can influence public policy

• Prepare for, attend, and conscientiously participate in board meetings

• Faithfully read and understand the organization’s financial statements

• Monitor and participate in Board Slack Channel

• Commit for a two year term
