Street Wise Arts Internships

Street Wise Arts seeks interns who are enthusiastic about the power of street art to join our team. Street Wise interns work both independently and with a small team during weekly virtual or in-person meetings. Our internships play an important role in our ecosystem and provide a unique opportunity for hands-on learning.

Current Internship Positions:

Digital & Documentary Media:  Video recording artist interviews, editing of new and existing video media for youtube, social media, websites. Creating animations and other types of media for augmented reality for murals in the existing collection. Photography. 1-2 positions available.

Design & Marketing: Graphic design and content creation for social media. Assist in marketing and evaluation strategies for specific campaigns and organizational goals. 1 position available.

Skills and experience:

  • Upper-level undergraduate or graduate studies in a related discipline

  • Ability to work with a small team, strong communication skills

  • Ability to self direct and work independently and to complete projects on schedule

  • Strong interest in or experience with public art, murals, street art, social justice, community engagement, activism, media

  • Related experience to area of interest, please provide work samples/portfolio

Internship Details:

  • Internships are unpaid. School credit may be available depending on your institution’s requirements. 

  • 2-8 hours per week including 1 hour per week for team meetings.

  • Flexible remote and hybrid work hours.

Internship Dates:

Internships are approximately six months with flexible start dates.
