Chelsea Hart

About the Artist:

I like my art to be capital F, FUN! This is why you will see a lot of bold colors, funky shapes, and an overall playful vibe throughout my work. I'm inspired by the little things in life, and I like to celebrate those. I tend to tap into that childlike sense of wonder and awe when creating, because life is hard enough; why not make art that gives us all a little relief? A little joy?

I've been creating murals for almost a decade now and have had the honor of working closely with diverse communities to create art that reflects these communities. If given the chance, I love to include a community aspect in my murals, whether that's collecting feedback on the design or hosting painting days. I've seen firsthand how this makes folks feel more connected to the work, and it makes the work that much more meaningful.

If even one person feels inspired by my work, I consider it a success.
