Ephemera: Lost Murals from the Street Wise Arts Archive

Street art is an ephemeral art form meant to be appreciated in the moment, encouraging people to slow down and connect with the people and public spaces that surround them. Many of the Street Wise murals we have created have been lost as Boulder develops and changes.

Rather than let them fade quietly, we're celebrating them through an exhibition showcasing a selection of Street Wise murals that no longer exist. Pay tribute to these lost murals by viewing photographs from our archives and hearing directly from the artists who made them via a storytelling audio tour. Featured artists include Juls Mendoza, Latasha Dunston, Mister Mario, Moe Gram, Olive Moya, UCSepia, Jessica Moon, Koko Bayer, and more.
