About the Artist:
I’m a Mexican-American artist based in Denver, Colorado, and a lot of my work is shaped by growing up between cultures and finding connection through art. I was born in El Paso, raised in Ciudad Juárez, and later moved to Denver as a kid. My work often comes from personal experiences around identity, community, memory, and belonging.
Through murals, paintings, and public art, I create visual stories inspired by culture, everyday life, and the communities around me. My style mixes bold color, symbolism, landscapes, organic elements, and dreamlike imagery through what I describe as Cultural Surrealism.
Community is a big part of my artistic practice. I’m interested in creating work that not only transforms a space visually, but also creates connection and makes people feel reflected in the artwork. I believe public art can create pride, spark conversation, and bring people together in meaningful ways.
Themes like nature, resilience, and regrowth connect naturally to both my work and personal story. I’m drawn to how landscapes and organic elements can represent healing, change, memory, and growth. At the end of the day, my goal is to create artwork that feels vibrant, welcoming, and connected to the people experiencing it.
