2026 Arts Education Mural
Location: Aurora Public Schools Professional Learning & Conference Center
Street Wise Arts muralist Marcus Murray (@omega_marcusus) designed a legacy mural for the Aurora Public Schools (APS) community to create together during the 2026 End-of-Year Block Party—a large, district-wide celebration that brought together students, families, staff, and the broader community to close out the school year.
There was fun to be had by all at the event - music, food, face-painting and mural making - in a vibrant and festive atmosphere. The all ages mural strengthened community connection, fostered a sense of belonging, and left a lasting legacy for future generations.
The mural served as both an interactive experience for Block Party participants and a long-term visual celebration of APS—highlighting student-centered themes, diversity, community, and a future-forward vision.
The mural is located on the exterior of the APS Professional Learning & Conference Center.
