Street Wise Arts Mural Camp at Museum of Boulder

Beautiful Boulder and Beyond

2025 Youth Program

Led by Luna Rae and Julia O’Brien

Lower courtyard of the Museum of Boulder, 2205 Broadway, Boulder, CO 80302

This summer, Street Wise Arts held mural camp at the Museum of Boulder!

Beautiful Boulder and Beyond is the result of a collaborative learning experience led by teaching artists Luna Rae and Julia O’Brien during the week-long program.

Students brought together their individual visions and a shared appreciation for the natural world to design a vibrant piece for the community. Using a range of learned tools and techniques, they crafted a colorful scene inspired by the iconic Flatirons, the flowing waters of Boulder Creek, and the region’s native wildlife, wildflowers, and cottonwood trees.

The mural celebrates the intricate ecosystems and natural cycles that sustain life in this area. Through this work, the students hope to spark imagination and a sense of connection—reminding viewers of their place within the larger universe, where wonder and possibility are endless.
