About the Artist:
I grew up in New York but I became an artist in motion. California, Colorado, North Carolina and all the places in between— each place cracked something open in me and left its mark on how I see, what I make, and what I believe art is actually for. I am a conceptual artist, collaborator, and multidisciplinary creative, and the through line across all of it has always been the same question- what does it mean to be fully human, and how do we make that visible?
My work moves across walls and extends beyond them. I combine reclaimed fabrics, painted and printed layers, sewn and embroidered textures, mural hybrids and hints of illumination to build environments that are as much felt as seen. I don't think of what I make as decoration. I think of it as a love letter — the brain, the heart, and the nervous system each carrying their own language of experience. Trauma speaks. Resilience speaks back. I try to make that conversation something a stranger can walk into and recognize within themselves.
The process is intuitive and deeply guided. Art informs me as I make it. It opens a way through for me first, and then — if I've been honest enough — it opens a way through for whoever is standing in front of it. An impulse. A recognition. A reminder of something true they had quietly set down.
What drives all of it is a devotion I can only describe as building love — not as a feeling but as a dynamic state of balance. Where every part of the human experience is seen as interconnected and essential. The joy and the grief. The becoming and the unbecoming. Including the discomfort. Especially the discomfort.
I make work that honors the Soul. That has always been enough reason.
